School Groups:
Our desire is to use our farm to help your students learn. This could be tailored to coincide with the unit you would be studying about plants, animals, simple machinery, or prairie life. It could be looking at many different types of plants and to identify their structure and function whether from a perennial plant or tree. For animals, our sheep could be used to learn about digestion, body parts, and body covering. Our lambing barn is open in the spring for holding and feeding baby lambs. The machinery could demonstrate how work is made easier than hand labor. Your students can experience prairie life by exploring our covered wagon, wigwam, and taking a walk through our fields much like the early settlers.
Give us a call to schedule your next fieldtrip with your class.
